Esperantist Day and International Meeting of Independent Publishers, Cesky Tesin (Czechy), 19-20 march 2004

How to get there?
Go with the underground passage at the railway station and go towards the
Billa
supermarket, then turn left. After 100 m. turn right before the gas station
"Benzina".
The "Liberte" space is located on the right side of the street in the
underground of the
pub "Rio".

The meeting will take place on 19-20 march (friday-saturday), but those
interested can
come on the 18th in the afternoon. If you come early, we ask you to go to
the
students house "Uska" at the Silesian University on Bielska street [Polish
side of the town],

The day before the meeting and during the meeting it will be possible to
sleep for free
in the "Liberte" club, but the conditions are not very luxurious an you HAVE
TO have your own
sleeping bag and sleeping pad.

Take your own dry food. There will be boiling hot water available. Cheap
tea, coffee and beer will
be available at "Liberte". We will have a limitd amount of vegan food for 30
crowns.

the Czech and Polish parts of the town are asked to contact

19 march (friday)
"Esperantist Day"

- 17.00 - opening
- 17.30 - organisation stuff, announcements; program
- 18.00 - Esperanto in the Zaolzie region. Lecture by Esperantists from both
parts of
Tesin/Cieszyn history of the Esperantist movement in the region.
Perspectives
of revival, discussion.
- 19.00 - "Esperanto - against the language monopoly of the contemporary
world". History of Esperanto, presentation of its qualities. Evaluation of
its communication effectiveness. Esperanto in the anarchist movement;
discussion
- 20.30 - "Esperanto and anarchism" - history of the role of anarchists in
the development of
the international language at the beginning of the XX century
- 21.15 Coffee/beer break
- 21.45 - Esperantist organisations in the world today;

- 22.15 - (for those interested) Questions related with the participation
in the organising of the International Esperantist Youth Congress in
Zakopana (Poland) in 2005.
- 23.00 - (for those interested) Proposition to participate in the creation
of a
libertarian fraction in the youth group "Pola Esperanta Junularo";
